Run Down Motel
Pictures are not accurate at all. I'm not sure when these pictures were taken because they did not look anything like the real deal. I am also shocked at how the other reviews were anything but horrible. This hotel is very old and run down. We did not have hot water (or even luke warm water) in either room (we had two rooms for our party of 5). They also charged a resort fee, which would be fine, but I'm not sure what it was for considering we had half a pillow on each bed, stained carpets, and a dirty bathroom. Even for the price, you can find something better.

You get what you pay for. Want nice, Not here!!
The Reality: - So however this place got it's ratings is a mystery. Hallway has a petrid smell, the hallway carpet looked like it was so dirty their was things growing in it. The sign at the register no Marijuana Smoking, but the hallway was ripe with the people smoking in their rooms which added the smell of a sick skunk roaming the halls. We didn't have hot water on two of the three days, and the electrical outlets stopped working at about 4am. The Good; The Gals at the front were super nice, as was the security and the waitresses in the restaurant. The Actually bed linen we clean, even though the bed was like sleeping on a rock. Again, how this place got it's high ratings is a wonder. Thinking they pay people to write reviews.

Very pleasant staff
The staff were very friendly from hotel, casino and restaurant. This building, specifically the hotel rooms need upgrading but absolutely no complaints. The staff made up for its age. I really enjoyed the restaurant ... food was cheap and nicely presented. One night the waitress served me a steak and did not like how it looked, after almost finishing it she dumped another steak on my plate saying I was too nice not to give me a good steak. In the casino, I told them I don't know how to play Black Jack very well. They were very helpful and I ended up in the green. 😊 Truly an awesome experience here.

Fair 4.0
The overall feeling is that this place is old and run-down. There is the smell of cigarette smoke from the casino that permeates the lobby and elevators. Our room was some better, but I had to clean the exhaust fan in the bathroom because of large clumps of dust on it. There was condensation on the window even when using the air conditioner. The lampshade was stained, furniture was banged up, paint chipped. Everything looked like it need a deep cleaning. The beds were comfortable. We had a problem with ants in the bathroom, which they tried to take care of by cleaning the vanity, to no avail. When we told the clerk at check out, she apologized but did not offer a discount. She admitted that they have had problems with ants in the past. The staff, especially maids, maintenance and at the front desk were all warm and friendly and very positive. The food in the restaurant, while inexpensive was very hit and miss, the steak was too tough to cut. They offered to replace it, but I chose not to start over with my meal. The hotel is in a poor area of town, which may or may not bother you, I never felt quite safe alone in the parking lot loading my car in the dark, but there was adequate lighting. All in all, if you can afford it, I would recommend you stay elsewhere.
