Breakfast is 0700-1000. We didn’t have time to eat before we left for the bus.

No luggage keeping service without prior notice!
The hotel was booked long time ago for the period during Sapporo Snow Festival, the rate was up for about a double; however, we were not notified for not keeping luggage after check out until we just checked out! It's ridiculous not to mention in advance and especially the rate was charged double.

Great Business Hotel
This is a relatively new hotel, so it is still in good condition. The rooms are small but well designed so it feels bigger than it is. The towels are very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was a multi-charger for smartphones and tablets which came in handy because I didn't bring one for my phone. The location is very convenient because it is close to the subway station. There is a wine bar next door and an Irish bar around the corner. Also there is a very nice bakery on the first floor.

Pillow is a little more to kids sized.
The location is great as it’s walking distance to Sapporo, Odori and Susukino via the underground passageway. Room size was comfortable

Not recommend of this hotel
The worst experience in Sapporo. Bad attitude of reception staff. Smell of urine inside the bathroom of the room

Good location and value in Sapporo
Great location about a 10 minute walk from Sapporo station and to Susukino area. Good restaurants and bars nearby and accessible from the underground walkway. Appears fairly new with comfortable twin rooms, clean and well maintained.

Wifi didn't work.
Wifi didn't work, so I ended up using tethering from my Japanese phone for work. Flooring was with so many dirts, and you could hear person next your door leaning to the wall.

Lacking Proper Maintenance, It's Going Downhill
Bathrooms smell of mildew, rooms are getting considerably run down. This was my 3rd and 4th stay at Unizo in Sapporo. While I originally forgave them for the mildew smell in the bathrooms, I have now stayed at enough accommodations in Japan with similar “container/prefab” bathrooms to know that they don’t all have a mildew problem. In fact, this seems to be a problem unique to either Unizo or the model of prefab bathroom they use. I have stayed in four different rooms at Unizo and in every one of them, the bathroom smells of mildew. In addition, maintenance of the rooms has significantly worsened since I stayed here two years ago. The wall from the entrance door to the opposite side of the room is covered in scuff marks from people’s luggage, and it appears that no attempt has been made to remove the marks (at the minimum, install a piece of molding that protects the wall!), and the carpets, which are industrial, replaceable squares, were flat-out filthy this time. On a carpet that is piecemeal replaceable, that’s unforgivable. I really liked this location and the staff, but when I come back to Sapporo, I’ll be looking for a better place to stay from now on.

Good location, close to JR Sapporo station. Nice breakfast. Non-responsive staff/poor service. Because the pillow in the room is too soft, I asked for one more pillow. The front desk service staff refused to give it to me and I quote `Our policy is no extra pillow. Every room has two pillows only.' I like the hotel and I hope the quality of their staff improves.
