Anniversary Stay
The room size and facilities was a pleasant surprise upon arrival, very impressive, however, we were left disappointed by a number of features. The toilet flush was broken and inadequate, which lead to an injury upon using and no toilet brush was provided either. The air conditioning was over complicated to use, and left a damp smell when returning to the room, so decided against using in the future. We had the inconvenience of having to reset our room cards on two separate occasions. Disappointed with the lack of Bill Shankly memorabilia and disappointed to see timeline on the ceiling covered up. Returned early one evening to find that the bar was not even open for residents. Staff were all very friendly and helpful

The lobby area is nice looking but amd the location is great but everything else is old and quite dirty. The rooms are shabby, dirty bed linens and overall didnt look clean. the worst thing is that you hear everything going on in the hallway and next rooms, like people are in the same room as you. It was really hard to sleep because of it. I really looked forward staying there but can't reccomend at all.

I was not keen on paying £200 on top of the hotel fees and then being told that i may have to wait up to 15 days for deposit to be paid back into my account. Other than that thought the hotel was lovely, and good location
