Front desk was not very helpful and didn't answer the phone when called from the room. There was an issue with the thermostat that wasn't taken care of so our room was pretty hot and stuffy.

I was glad the pool was open although it wasn’t very kid friendly. Abs the breakfast was decent. Overall we had a good stay.

Overall the stay was very good. Parking is expensive and I felt should have been included in the stay for the price of the room. I liked prepaying, however: the hotel also charges my credit card and it took over a week to be returned after several phone calls.

Very good hotel with only minor inconvenience

This hotel has very nice rooms, clean and spacious. The staff are also friendly. Our son LOVES the indoor pool and playing with other guests children. There is only one drawback, the “long” is on the 25th floor, not the main level when you walk in. It means if you want to stop by the front desk on your way in or out of the hotel you have to take the elevator up to the lobby before you go to your room or leave. I know, a first world problem, but an inconvenience nonetheless. Overall a good hotel.

    Just passing through

Embassy was clean and cozy. I didn’t like that the front desk is on the top floor and all rooms are below it. Free breakfast and happy hour drinks (2pp). Excellent location although parking is shared with restaurant across the street

  • 6.0.Good

To begin our stay (Saturday-Monday), the front of the building was easy to find. We decided to spend the extra $10 for valet (totally $35 compared to the $25 for self-parking). After asking the valet how to pay we were informed the total for two days, $70, would be charged to the room. I repeated the question to the check-in lady, and she gave the same answer. Come to find out, that valet is only offered Friday-Sunday and that i would have to get my keys on Sunday by 11 am. If I would have known that, I could have parked my car myself. AND I would have a better sense of where the parking garage is to get to my car instead of being told that its "around the corner". The room....was okay. The shower had hair in it, the comforter had hair on it, the floor was filthy, the pull out couch had crumbs folded into it (so it wasn't dropped from just sitting on the couch) and the lamp shade had something splattered on the inside. The TV is not a Smart TV, which is kind of a bummer from Embassy. The towels were THIN and nearly falling apart. Last, but CERTAINLY not least, we went swimming the first day, and there was a poop floater. Assuming it was just an unfortunate accident and they immediately closed the pool to clean and shock it, it was also very disappointing that the whole reason we booked THIS hotel, was so my kids could go swimming.

Front desk/guest services were understaffed and no one ever answered the phone. They were, however, accommodating when we asked for an additional sleeper cot. Thanks! However, when I called to report a dirty pillow case that had pink lipstick on it, they weren’t too upset. They said they would “make a note” and let housekeeping know to change sheets the next day.

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past. It has always been excellent. They had an open bar with appetizers for happy hour and a great buffet breakfast. Not anymore!!!!! Now you get two drink coupons for happy hour and a lousy breakfast. For breakfast, you are given a choice of three small meals. If you have any dietary restrictions, you are screwed. I chose the western omelette...which should have been left out west...for the coyotes to eat. After you got this selection, you could get coffee, juice, etc. They had one guy working it, and were out of damn near everything. So, while you were waiting for your drinks and fruit, that they were out of, your already lousy breakfast got cold. I’m quite sure they will pull the Covid excuse, but it has been over a year. There are no excuses for such a lousy product and service. They have room to set up a buffet behind the servers. Just add a few more employees and they could have served everyone a good breakfast in a timely manner. Embassy Suites should be ashamed of how they are treating their customers. My advice is to stay somewhere that doesn’t offer the extras, but saves you $75. I’m sure that would pay for one hell of a breakfast.
