The resort is amazing! We loved the rustic decor and the room was spotless. Our only complaint was the layout of the building. The room that we were assigned to was at the very back of the building, and the only way to get there was to walk around the entire perimeter of the pyramid. Something to consider if you're traveling with older family members, as we were. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. The upper observation deck had some spectacular views. We didnt eat at the restaurant there because it was pretty pricey if your're traveling with kids. It is worth a visit

    Worth Every Penny

Very beautiful location! The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on. You would think that it'd be loud because the balconies face the store, but it's actually not bad. You have to worry more about the neighbors you get. The food & drinks was VERY GOOD. You need your own gun or bow & arrow to use the ranges. The view at the top is worth it. The staff was friendly. Overall, it was a great experience. We will definitely be back!

Excellent Hotel in a Las Vegas Setting

This pseudo hunting lodge is located within an enormous pyramid built as a commercial space by Bass Pro Shops. The main floor is all shops, one restaurant, and a free-standing glass elevator to the rooftop observation area, with hotel rooms on upper floors surrounding the open commercial space. There is one elevator only that serves the hotel rooms, requiring a very long walk to rooms on the opposite side of the pyramid. Our inside room had a sliding glass door overlooking the commercial space lit 24/7 like a casino. It was was luxurious with a large double-sinked bathroom, separate shower and soaking tub. The hotel fitness center is top-of-the-line, although too warm with one non-working machine. The guest lounge located on the third floor is large, handsomely appointed, and offers very good coffee starting at 6am.

    Needs help with customer service.

Our first night, we waited over 35 minutes for three drinks at the Fish bowl bar on a Monday night when no-one was there. My husband was the only person standing at the bar and was ignored. The bartendar was extremely rude. We spent $45 on three drinks and gave a $20 tip and the bartendar was not happy with our tip. He expected more and made that perfectly clear. The wait staff in the restaurant on the main floor of Bass Pro Shop treated us rudely throwing down menus and the wait time was extreme. People actually got tired of waiting and got up and left. They ran out of regular coffee for our room and the maid didn't know when they would have more and didn't offer a voucer for the restaurant for coffee. Room service charges so much for their food and a large fee for getting food to your room. That was the negative. However there was positive, the rooms were very nice and clean, the upstairs bar in the resort was very nice and the bartendars were very professional and nice, the restaurant that overlooked the city was excellent and the waiter/bartendars were great. So if you can afford the luxory of eating at a 5 star restaurant every night you will have a good meal and service, if not, good luck.
