Many rooms are dated with holes in the walls and water marks. Yes, it's an old hotel, but a reno is seriously needed. My room actually had a standing lamp shade covering the ceiling light... odd. No TV WIFI, and I was too tired to contact the front desk to fix. Location is ideal and a great view of the harbor.

The room was clean, but needing a bit of upgrading. Floor a bit unstable. There need to be a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries, washbag, etc. And a tumbler (glass or plastic) in the bathroom would be useful for anyone taking medication. Otherwise fine - and a lovely view!

Great location directly on the seafront. We were there during the heat wave and the hotel is not well set up to accommodate with windows that barely open, no air con in rooms or bar, staff did give us a fan for room but was low power and could not combat the heat. Double bed was also very small

We arrived to be told all parking had been allocated, despite me messaging to ask for it. I would say pet tolerant rather than pet friendly and the £20 pet dog fee was extortionate as we had 2. What's the fee for?? All my dogs used was a little water, they were in crates so didn't even need any additional cleaning. We were also given a list of "you must nots" when it comes to pets, any misdemeanor would result in another £50 fee!! Breakfast however was good and the room we had was large and looked out over the sea.

We only stayed one night. The location is great, right on the water. Very beautiful views. The hotel is old and it shows. The room is very basic, no amenities to mention. The floors seemed unstable and uneven. Not worth the money. Parking comes at a price of GBP 10 per night.

Nice property , clean and well maintained. Easy and swift check in. The advertising of the hotel focused a lot on the gym , Golf, Spa and swimming pool facilities, and I was a little annoyed to find out on reading the small print ( after we had booked) that there was a £15 per person charge to use the pool. We felt that this should be pointed out more prominently as the pool and Spa was one of the main reasons for booking.

This hotel is a little tired but the staff are very helpful and efficient. Our room had an excellent view over Oban harbour it was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the drinks (tea coffee of chocolate) and the complimentary biscuits were really good. The window frames are in need of repair but the window were clean as was everything else in the room. Breakfast had a great choice and everything was tasty and plentiful. Parking was a bit of an issue but the staff were excellent and did everything possible to resolve any difficulties and I appreciated there efforts.
