8/10 Very good

Top notch room, food and drink not so much
One night get-a-way for spouse and I. Ate in the hotel bar, good meal. Desserts were meh. Nothing fancy. Next time I’d skip the mixed drinks and go straight for one of their local beers. Fresh and crisp. Room was nice, especially the bed and the bathroom. Charming views from our little private balcony, this would have been great in nicer weather. Rm 15. The breakfast that comes with the room is fine but the plastic To go containers were no fun to eat from in our room.

6/10 Good

Door was broken and not fixed during our stay. It was so bright on the street with shutters that did not block enough light and so loud thst we could not sleep. Breakfast was decent, not great abd after waiting 30 minutes for a second cup of coffee, I gave up. I had really been looking forward to staying at this boutique hotel with great reviews and was extremely disappointed. Very very overpriced for the comfort and service we received.

10/10 Exceptional

The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the rooms were in exceptional condition with luxurious amenities. Quiet and comfortable, and right in the heart of Lexington's downtown. Step outside and you're right across the street from a handful of excellent restaurants (though the on-site restaurant was also fantastic). Can't wait to stay there again.

10/10 Exceptional

comfort and character
staff was especially good; we like the character and comfort. our room was perfect [except for the bench at the foot the bed that i broke a toe on] and the bathroom was superb. we liked having our own entrance and balcony. the pottery shop around the corner is one of the best i have ever been in, every artwork was top quality. we also loved the flower pots on the streets. taps was busy, but nice and the food was good and fresh.

A very special place with beautiful rooms, outstanding staff, and an outstanding breakfast included in the room rate. It is our favorite place to stay and also to have lunch when in Charleston!
