This place is decorated as a wedding venue with pretty lights, fountains, and decorations everywhere. We went around Christmas time so there were decorations everywhere. The hotel's restaurant was also tasty and reasonably priced. The only drawback was a smell of mildew in some of the common spaces. Our room was fine and everywhere was visibly clean, so I'm not sure what it was from.

This was a last minute booking and it was nice. e ended up in a traditional style room that was spacious and clean. It looks more like it's used for big events or weddings and was quiet when we were there and although there was a limited amount of English speaking staff they were always helpful

Hotel staff were very friendly & helpful. A big carpark just next to hotel. Good and nice breakfast, a good mix of western and Japanese. Come with a bonus supper Ramen from 2130 to 2200hrs. Only about 10mins drive away to Hitachi Seaside Park.

Great value
Very friendly clean hotel with English speaking staff. Free bicycles if you want to head to the town centre and less than 500m from the nearest station. They even serve free ramen in the evening too.

The hotel and the staff were helpful, basic english but nice none the less. Access to the hotel is mainly by taxi/bus, I used the latter. WiFi was sketchy if you were in a room far far away, used reception office area most of the time. Breakfast was included, this was fine. Evening noodles was a nice pleasantry, restaurant closes earlier than most so they provide noodle soup. Very nice indeed, especially after a very ling flight. No bar but you can get a drink from restaurant or vending machines. I would go back.
