Poor 2.0
Terrible management service
Manager was rude. They didn’t give me special rate as it showed on my reservation

Disappointed
It was decent. There was no hand soap. I called for towels that I didn't receive for hrs. Had to call back

The location is fantastic, close to restaurants and sight-seeing and shopping. The rooms have been redone recently and are very well done. I’m a stickler about bedding and the top sheet they put over the comforter had a gross texture, though the comforter itself was nice (but obviously they don’t wash those, so yuck). The elevators were quick and easy to take. The front desk is on the 9th floor and they were consistently understaffed and unable to help you with anything in an immediate fashion: get ready to wait if you need something. The lobby is well appointed and has comfortable seating if you want to get out of your room to relax. WiFi is free and easy to log into. Overall really nice. Just wish they had more people working. Also- due to Covid, they don’t change sheets of clean your room for the entire stay. You have to request anything, which leads to more waiting.

Exceptional 10.0
Loved the updated rooms. I'll definitely be staying here the next time I come to Chicago. The motion sensor light in the closet and the touch-screen mirror options in the bathroom were really cool. The room was clean and the beds were super comfy. The only thing I didn't like was that the fridge was on a timer and would turn off after a couple of hours. We ended up having to throw away all of our food (which wasn't much, but still). I also wish there was a light over the mirror in the hallway. It was hard getting ready while someone else was using the bathroom. But overall, a very nice hotel!

Check In lobby is on the 9th floor
So the entrance off the street seems like a normal building lobby in any downtown. However the lobby to check in is actually on the 9th floor and there is no signage on the main floor to tell visitors this information. There is a valet at a desk sometime but that seems to be normal business hours so if you arrive outside of normal business hours there will not be anyone there. There was another couple sitting in the main floor lobby the directed us to the 9th floor but it would be nice if the hotel had a sign directing visitors to the 9th floor.

Very good 8.0
This is a very nice hotel. The only reason I couldn’t rate it higher is it’s cleanliness. When we arrived to our room, you could obviously tell that the floors hadn’t been swept. Also, there was a layer of grime running along the edge of the desk, just underneath the glass panel. The shower was fine but there was also visible dirt between the grout. The location was great and it was pretty quiet for a downtown apartment. I liked the A/C unit and the easy control it provided. Also, the bed was very comfortable, just wish the comforter rose up higher. The fridge and microwave were the best parts of the room!

It is not as fancy looking as you expect from 4 stars hotel but was clean, friendly staff and fast responses

Nice Stay
My room was clean and comfortable. Would certainly stay again for the price.

Exceptional 10.0
Great stay. Convenient location
Rooms were vacant for 72 hours in between guest stays as COVID preventative measures. Housekeeping was unavailable as their bars and restaurants were also closed. Not an issue since that was already stated prior to booking. The double queen room was large and roomy. The bed was oh so soft! Had some of the best sleep! Hotel was central to most places. Convenient location
