Save your coin and do not book this resort. The resort itself is beautiful, but it has very bad management and very dirty rooms. My bed was filthy (they used a bed cover to cover it up) and so were the sofas and the restroom. The staff did not disinfect the room as I have seen in other resorts, but merely changed sheets, and mop the floor so cleaning was definitely not a priority. In terms of food, it was horrible. The buffet does not have many options in terms of food, and the food they have is very bland. The resort does have other restaurants, but they do require a reservation, but when I checked for reservations they always seemed to be fully booked (even when I checked 1 minute after reservations open up like really?). The resort also does not open all their restaurants every day. The restaurants do not have a schedule so randmoly some would be close and some would be open, not even the employees were able to tell me which restaurants were set to open on which dates (I guess lack of personnel?) The icecream parlor which I was super excited was a big disappointment, only 2-3 flavors available like lemon, vanilla, and chocolate and truly the flavors were very bland and you could barely even taste the vanilla in it nor any other flavor. The staff is a hit or miss, those at the front desk are the rudest. They always had an attitude when going up to them, even when I went to ask for a pen. The others are nice for the most part.

Over all we had a great time at the Ocean Riviara resort! I do want to point out that while there is one pool area that is adults only... the resort and most amenities are family friendly. This was disappointing to us as the "adults only" aspect was what drew us to this location.

Overall enjoyed our stay. First the pros: parking onsite was free, they cleaning procedures for Covid were excellent, plenty of space and pretty open hotel, the room was beautiful, and the food was fairly good but depended on the restaurant. Cons: the drinks were so-so, the room did have some minor maintenance issues but these were fixed quickly. Just other things to note. The El Beso Adults only is one section of the hotel which we didn't realize until checking in. Although we had our own adults only pool, there were no other sections for adults only. Also El Beso was more of a party area than we expected. Not bad, we just thought it would be more chill than loud music and volleyball games. Also due to Covid, there are just a few servers working the bars so lines could be long. They also only opened two restaurants a night on the entire property and the times posted were different than actual operating hours. Overall enjoyed our stay, but it was just different than advertised.

The resort is only four years old, however, it is ran down already. - Phones did not work in rooms -There is a charge for breakfast room service although we paid for all-inclusive - Only one restaurant is open for lunch, and everything was frozen products, except the salads and fruit - We traveled with family, and had three rooms, and each room had some sort of leak in the bathroom (sink, toilet, bathtub) - The staff are remarkable and hard working, and go above and beyond to cater to your needs - The night shows and entertainment were amazing
