Lobby is not at a nearby hotel but almost on the other side of south beach. Thank God i had rented a car! When i got to the lobby, I had to wait half hour. The two staff members were super rude, one was checking another person in and the other was just talking and flirting with the other. when i got closer to desk, they told me very rudely to go take a seat. i let it slide. Then after 30 mins, the one that wasn't doing anything decided to check me in and someone else at same time. Go figure! He told me that the parking spaces listed as nearby on Expedia were not true since that whole road is tow-away zone and that if i didn't want my car towed at night i should pay $20/night to have my own private parking space right in the back of building & have peace of mind. i agreed and purchased it. they explained which of the 4 spaces was my designated space and to always have permit tag on windshield etc. Went to room, it was nothing like the photos. room is very small, not an apartment. NIGHTMARE was at night when my parking space was being used by another car. i called number they gave me many times and no answer. after hours of trying to figure out what do to, i ended up parking behind another guest's car, hoping not to get towed. left a note to knock on my door and wake me up to move it. They did at 5.00am. didn't sleep all night. next day at noon the other car was still parked in my space! I went to lobby, they were extremely rude & didn't even apologize! we left, refund? waiting
