I dont normally review to complain on accommodation but this single night stay for work was very disapointing to say the least. I arrived early and although my room was ready there was only one small towel. I asked for towels to receive one slightly larger towel for my one night stay. Although the room looked fine for pub accomodation I found several hairs within the bed sheets which I can only presume was from the cleaners!. I was there on my own for work so didnt want ot make a fuss and did not want to complain. My evening meal came but requested a pot gravy from the waitress for the pie with a dry selection of vegatables, gravy never arrived and so left the vegetables. I raised it with the waitress afterwards to an answer "sorry I forgot" ! | I was informed breakfast would be available at 8.00am, that was great as i needed to leave by 8.30. After using a wet towel in the morning ( towel rail not working) I went for breakfast at 8.00am to find a locked breakfast room door, no staff in kitchen the hotel was deserted! I waited until 8.15 untill someone arrived, nothing!
I left the hotel and went to search for alternative breakfast in the town!! I rang the hotel several times during the morning whilst i was working locally but there was no answer. Later in the day I returned to find the manager and explained the issues, he seemed suprised and said the staff should have been there, appologised and offered a full refund. Naturally I will not be returning to the Bull Hotel!
