The reception staff were welcoming, food was excellent. The room was spacious, however there was some issues. There was a TV bracket on the wall but no TV. There was very limited plug outlets, there was a kettle in the room but no tea or coffee available in the room. The soap dispenser was not properly attached to the wall, mirror was damaged, some tiles had cracks in them. The car park was like a ice skating rink very risky getting from the room to the reception/breakfast.

    Bad customer service

The heater was not turned on upon our arrival at night and in winter. There was no one to welcome us, and the guy at the reception the next day told us he doesn’t even want to work there. The breakfast was ok, basic. I forgot a piece of clothing in the room, and I called the hotel after two hours to ask them to keep it so I could pick it up and I was told that they could not find it. I called several times after that and the call was never picked up again. I have sent several emails requesting to have it back and no one has replied to my emails

Clean, great location and view, noisy guests

This place is situated in a beautiful area. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The owner is very hospitable. Free coffee and tea at all times. The biggest downfall was the noise. There were horribly noisy guests arriving late hours and some were rowdy that you can hear them laughing throughout the night. Every time one entered or left the rooms the doors slammed. The walls are also thin so you can hear chitter chatter. Unfortunately, the guests were part of a big group staying there and were rowdy. Seems like a free for all since there is technically no staff in the building or a phone in our room to communicate with them. The staff is located in reception and dinning building. We ended up banging on the wall to make them stop. Needless to say we didn’t sleep well. Not even a tv in the room to put on to try to drown the noise. It’s not the owners fault just inconsiderate people. Maybe if they had signs up to be quiet after a certain time.

Nice location to see the glaciers. The breakfast was good and room was clean. The only issue was the shower floor was not leveled properly, and water ran out of the shower, through the bathroom, through the bedroom, and all the way to the outside wall. Not a big deal for us, just have to notice it and put a towel their to dam the water.

The property was secluded from the other towns but it has an amazing view of the glacier and surrounding farm lands. It was the first night we saw the northern lights from the hotel. It has nice restaurant and small bar. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Super CLEAN.

A very nice place to stay

We enjoyed our one-night stay here. The room was very comfortable, and the location was beautiful. The breakfast was only cold foods, but had a good variety. The restaurant dinner had a limited menu, but the food was very well prepared and presented. A bonus is that we were able to view the aurora borealis at 8 pm. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it.
