Hot rooms
Super hot in the rooms. No ability to open the windows so no air was able to get in. It was only about 23C in London and the room was a sauna. Can't imagine how hot it would be in the summer

I honestly wouldn't recommend staying here for long periods of time at all, was fine for one night but wouldn't want to be there for much more than that. Very old, uncomfortable beds and rooms in general

Terrible Stay
No AC in room…terribly hot with just fans. We were in 6th floor and the room was unbearably hot we were moved to a lower floor. This outdated hotel needs major renovations for air conditioning especially during hot weather. Night MOD was accomodating in resolving issue!

The Tavistock hotel was perfectly located just far enough away from the busy tourist area but still easy to get to them via the underground. Hotel was clean and staff very helpful. One small issue was that the bath shower fittings do not move and so small people are trapped at the end of the bath unable to reach the taps without completely immersing themselves under the spray
