Place was very nice, clean, well kept and comfortable. Great amenities. No instruction for wifi, had to sign an inventory list before seeing the place and the list was incorrect on seversl lines.

We had a penthouse suite and it was outstanding. High-end appliances appeared brand new. Daily housekeeping was perfect. Nice to have access to the main resort but so glad we were back near the jungle. We had the pool to ourselves every day, right underneath our window and rooftop deck, which also had a private jacuzzi. Good location central to Akumal and Tulum.

Abseits, schöne Zimmer, sehr hell in der N8
Zimmer schön, sauber und modern, aber keinerlei Verdunkelungsmöglichkeit, kein Vorhang nur lichtdurchlässiges Rollo, extreme Beleuchtung des Innenhofes führt zu tageshellem Raum in der N8, zweiter Raum bisschen dunkler nachts, da nicht zum Hof hin, aber auch KEINE Verdunkelung. Lange schlafen nicht möglich. Lage: abseits, bei Akuma,riesen SammelKomplex mehrerer Hotels, seeehr weitläufig, ohne Mietwagen kein Restaurant erreichbar (8-10 min Fahrt bis Tulum Zentrum). Achtung Hotel-Anfahrt schwierig: Google Maps zeigt zwei Anah Suites Tulum an, nehme das südlichere, haben 20 min gesucht! Check in dauerte auch ewig, mussten Armbändchen für Zugang zum Partnerhotel selber im 1.5 Km entfernten 'Clubhaus' abholen fahren. Late checkout verweigert. Telefonische Erreichbarkeit schwierig. Kooperation mit Hotel "Bahia Principe Tulum" wenige Km entfernt: Pool und Strandnutzung inklusive, man wird mit gratis Bimmelbahn hin- und zurückgefahren, aber dort: Pool: laute Animation tagsüber, schlimm, Strand: extreme Mengen von Seegras, im Meer (Februar 2019) schwimmen nicht möglich, da nach Hüfthoher Tiefe Seegrasblockaden den weiteren Zugang ins Meer verhindern. Das Problem ist aber nicht Hotelbezogen sondern ein Problem der ganzen Region. Das Anah Suites selbst hat zus. auch 2 Pools direkt am Hotel (also nicht am Strand). Insges. kann man aber von diesem Hotel in Akumal mit dem Wagen gut die Gegend erkunden und modern und preiswert übernachten, wenn man die genannten Nachteile erträgt.
