The roads leading to the resort are ridiculously horrible. They need to invest some money on that.The layout of the property was nice for the most part. The proximity of the public toilets to the cabin is not ideal. The fact that you have to pay for every meal was disappointing, especially given the long wait time for food to be prepared. A complimentary breakfast would have made the world of difference. The staff definitely makes up for the short comings of the resort. Big shout out and thank you to Carlos.

The setting of Lake Mainstay Resort is eye-catching and therefore pleasingly appealing. The lake is picturesque and induces tranquility. Swimming in it is invigorating. The facilities are modern and well maintained (except for the gym: a great idea, but it needs some attention). The service receives an A. The owner is accessible and genially accommodating. The food is tongue-tantalizing. I had a relaxing, quality stay.
