Exceptional Customer Service!
Highly Recommend this resort in the middle of Chiang Mai. The staff was amazing. Customer service was above and beyond. The breakfast was also very delicious. The only negative was that I thought the shower could have been a little cleaner in between the tiles where the grout is. Otherwise a wonderful stay at a beautiful property, and would recommend to anyone visiting Chiang Mai.

I first stayed at Away Chiang Mai the week they opened, tried two room types, and have been a fan of the resort ever since. Kat and her staff are top notch professionals, always friendly, helpful, and extremely accommodating with odd requests. As a repeat guest I was offered a Thai massage at their spa, which was lovely, and the restaurant is one of the best in the city for plant-based food. Get the included breakfast. Some days, you can even make your own fresh pressed juices. It’s worth it! Bathrooms are stocked with eco friendly soap and lotion dispensers. I tried to convey the water could be hotter, but the mermaid-sized tub makes up for it. Please note: Due to reduced tourism post lockdown, Moreganic is only open for breakfast (guests only) and lunch. Dinners are ordered as room service provided by Goodsouls. I didn’t order in, but a friend did, and she said that went fine. Plenty of other dinner options nearby, including Vegan Heaven and May Kaidee. Also recommended is Blue Orchid for a 1 hr facial massage with (5-6) masks applied. Several good silver shops and tailors mixed in with expat bars on the same street as Vegan Heaven. The pool was nicely heated and felt refreshing even in the heat. Umbrellas are provided for the rainy season. Away has everything you need for a fabulous stay in CM!
