A good stop before heading to Mt. Cook
This was an old but well kept huge property. It only has two upstairs rooms/suites for B&B. A bigger part of the front end property is used for paid serviced such as conference room, ballet class room and wedding reception. Liz, the owner, was very friendly and showed us around as soon as we arrived. The suite we stayed was spacious. It has one queen bed in the main room and another single bed placed in the next door room which seemed to be an once kid study room. In the morning, Liz was nice to heat up and wrapped the pizza we bought the previous night as our lunch on the way to Mt. Cook. It was a good stay.

Beautiful BnB surrounded by gardens
We had a great stay at the Manor Estate! The house is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood and is surrounded by a beautiful garden that was in full bloom during our visit. The room was charming and the fresh flowers in the room and kitchen were a lovely little touch. The bed was very comfortable. Our hostess was very friendly and had some great tips for places to go in the area. Its a short drive into the town center and the penguin colony.

Nice B&B
The B& was very nice and well located, close to the Victorian town center. There is plenty of space in the room and the bathroom, and it's very clean. The breakfast was mediocre though, with just toast and assorted small continental items.

A night in a manor home
Our room was a two-room attic space in the back of the manor, an area that must have been added on long after the original manor was built. Have Liz give you a tour of the front area and you will be wowed. Lovely view of large gardens from our window. Weddings are sometimes performed here. Area is residential just a short drive into main town.
