Property inside was very clean. I had the 1/1 bottom floor so no opening windows and seeing a nice view; just people's feet, hehe. If you sleep in the living room bed, you can hear the noise outside. Not so bad unless you get loud passer byers that may wake you up at 7 in the morning. Also, the sidewalk outside the property smelled like pee. Bathroom was small with no counter space and a very odd, modern shower door design (there was no door and floor kept getting wet), but it had toiletries and warm water. Beds were comfy. Plenty of towels. Apartment is beautifully decorated. Host was nice. She asked to turn off water heater when not in use, (personally, I don't want to worry about these things while on a vacation). A/C worked perfectly; tv as well. Kitchen was cozy, well equipped but there was no salt for cooking. Location was good (15 min walk to Acropolis) but personally, I recommend staying in Plaka if this is your first time, have no car and you're doing a short stay, because you are right smack in the middle of the restaurants and souvenir stores. Check out Adrianno's restaurant for live Greek music and plate smashing on Saturdays (in Plaka). We took a taxi from airport to the property for €38 (it's a flat rate they charge for everybody from airport to Athens). If you need to get around the city, use the app Beat, it's like Uber but taxi drivers are the ones driving you, not regular people. They only accept cash. We used that to get back to airport when we left.
