    Don't believe the prices presented!
very unpleasant surprise at checkout - extra 12% in price. This is unethical sales trick. Small letters at says "a local tax (if applicable) may be collected by the property" and the hotel charge you for "destination fee" because they "have a fitness center and also a business center", and it does not matter if you use it or not. Bad for, bad for Watson hotel.

    Disappointing service
Attempted to check in at the hotel with my luggage and bags outside. Bellman clearly saw and did not help until I was in the hotel, wanting a tip. Bellman only wanted to help on the easy things and get rewarded graciously for it. Upon check out, I was forced to put a bag with an open zipper out of baggage storage and put it in one of my luggages because they won’t store the bag. This took over an hour of my time, when I have already packed everything. As it turns out that I can’t store it, I’d much rather leave and go to a different hotel. Regardless if you pay to check in a bag with an opening or not, it is not within their policy to accept it. This was also after I asked about if I am able to check all the bags in when calling for a bellman. If they’re unable to do something, they should disclosure it before a customer calls up for it. Toilet were clogged and shower curtains smell of mould. The towels are not sanitary - the cleaners literally lay them on the toilet seat while folding to put it on the rack. The hotel itself is old, and not renovated. Elevator buttons don’t work half the time. Hell’s Kitchen isn’t the most convenient location but if it is the proximity to Time Square that you are looking for, I’d say go for a location in Time Square and at a better rate too.

    Very good 8.0
    First Major NY Stay
The Watson was a great hotel. I found the bed to be a bit hard, but the pillows were wonderfully fluffy. The water got hot fast and had good pressure in the shower. My overall shock of all NY hotels was the fact that most do not have refrigerators and microwave ovens in the rooms. It forces you to eat out for breakfast, lunch and dinner with no way to store or reheat leftovers. I did not eat breakfast at the hotel, but I did have one dinner in the bar. The meal was very good. Everyone I interacted with from the front desk clerks to the guy at the baggage desk were very friendly and helpful.

    Fair 4.0
Not so good. Not clean furniture is old not clean broken. Only one elector worked wait time and line to get to elevator . I really couldn’t touched anything in that room . I will never stay in this place anymore.

    Old hotel
    1) the building is very old. not all the elevators work, and not all the time. 2) the toilet is very loud. someone in the next room flushes - you wake up in the middle of the night. 3) the is not enough light in the room. 4) the hotel staff stole things i purchased and were in my suitcase. it cost me about 3 dollars and i want my money back.
