I stayed here once before and it was not bad, so I decided to stay again. Huge mistake.
First, there are tourists that arrive in packs and are incredibly noisy. There was not one night or morning where people were not slamming doors around you, speaking loudly next to you, or moving furniture above you. My first night there, a group of Chinese tourists were having a party on my floor. I called to the front and asked them to ask the group to be quiet since it was 11 PM. I doubt the staff called, since I had to go out myself and ask them to be quite a few minutes later. The noise happened every night and every morning, even as those tourists checked out and others checked in.
Second, the condition of the room could have been cleaner. There are stains on the window from where it looks like someone was rubbing their face and there was food under the bed that was uncleaned.
Third, the staff speaks very limited English. Check out was drawn out due to language issues.
Fourth, you get very few amenities in the room. I don't even think there was instant coffee or tea.
That said, the hotel is reasonably priced, in a somewhat decent location, and fairly new. If you don't mind the noise, you will probably be fine. I will be staying elsewhere next time I am in Seoul.
