Staff were helpful room was really small and quite stuffy would probably stay again but would op for bigger room but was ok just to get head down after races

Unacceptable room
We stayed here on the 6th May for one night, matteress had springs coming through, dirty towel screwed up on radiator in bathroom then dirty stained towel folded on side, also bath towels not at their best both stained. Room very tired and for what we paid would not recommend to others nor would we stay again, not worth the money we paid.

Very nice and friendly place to stay, ideal for exploring the centre of York with The Shambles only a couple of mins walk away and ideal for public transport too. The rooms are basic but it's ideal for sleeping and the bathroom was spacious too. Overall it was nice and quiet and ideal for those who want shops and pubs right on the doorstep and not expensive either. Will definitely visit again.
