Comfortable room
The accommodation is on the upper floor of a house in a residential area of Hokitika. While there's no elevator, the owner was happy to assist us bringing heavy luggage up the stairs. The room was clean, the wifi worked well, and the bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast was provided and self serve.

Peter our host was welcoming and informative about our accommodation and the area. It was wonderful to stay in this 100 year old 2 storey gracious home. Everything for our comfort had been considered and from our spacious bedroom we enjoyed views of the sunset over Mt Cook. We ate dinner on a wide veranda overlooking the beautifully manicured old world garden. The bathroom was private and large with big fluffy towels. We enjoyed a simple though filling brekky in a charming dining room with large windows and fireplace. If ever I'm in Hokitika again. This is where i will stay.

excellent host. lovelyhouse. Well positioned . Kettle in bedroom would be appreciated as 20 stairs to guest lounge to make one. Lovely balcony to sit out on.with views of town. No tv in bedroom.
