Habitas has a great ambience. It offers 2-3 activities a day and yoga 5 days a week. The restaurant offers great good and fresh but expensive fresh juice. which makes it like a place you don’t need to leave during your stay. It also offers free bicycle. The bicycles aren’t at the best condition but gets the job done. The facility is located at the perfect location which means it’s in the center. It’s close to Tulum town , Aldea Zama and the rest of the hotels.

    Highly Recommend!!

I visited Habitas Tulum with my boyfriend. Our stay was short but incredible. The vibe of Habitas was great; the grounds were beautiful. Also of note, the restaurant food was delicious. All staff members were extremely kind and helpful. The second day of our stay a hurricane warning was issued. Habitas Tulum staff was EXTREMELY responsive and took care of all guests immediately. The communication was great, we were taken to another (great) hotel, and felt very safe. We can't wait to come back some day!

Very nice and beautiful hotel! We only stayed one night but enjoyed our time there. Staff was very helpful and rooms were stylish and clean. I will say that the food and drinks may have been more expensive than necessary but perhaps thats the norm for all the boutique hotels in this area. We weren't able to take advantage of all of the activities the hotel offered daily, but it seemed like a great touch to offer new daily activities to it's guests. If you want to stay in a boutique hotel in Tulum, I would definitely recommend this place to stay.

Good if you know what you’re buying

Pros: good location, great pool and bar, staff generally welcoming Cons: racoons and monkeys all night running over your tent, bar and food is very expensive, Instagram crowd, very loud. After 3 people and 90 minutes we finally got a refund for the remaining 2 nights of our stay. If you’re happy to pay for a tent and the noise doesn’t worry you it is a nice place and the staff a generally nice - Manuel at reception was really great

Simply answer, this is a MUST visit. Very unique and chill atmosphere. You just want to stay longer. Also, unlike nearby well known hotel this has A/C and private shower and bathroom!

I was really excited about my stay at Habitas but was overall very displeased with the quality and service. The first night of my stay, after coming from long travels, there was an electric music festival going on on property. I had paid a premium for the beach view rooms and the festival was on the beach from 10pm-10am. We were unable to get ANY sleep. I contacted Guest Services and Josephina was extremely rude and unhelpful. She said there was nothing she could do and completely stopped responding when I asked for compensation. We ended up leaving to a different hotel in the middle of the night because the sound was unbearably loud and once again Josephina and team ddi nothing to help. I would definitely not recommend Habitas to anyone. Theres a lot of other better priced hotels that probably have better customer service and don’t host festivals at all hours of the night on their property that they preach relaxation and medication on.

You can get a lot of great picture there, However I was a bit disappointed by their beach, It's a pretty limited area, you cant really get down to the beach, but the pool area is really nice. Condition and facilities are pretty bad during my trip. The entrance door was not locking but the staff helped us fixing it pretty quick. Then the second day, bathroom door was not unlocking and I was locked in the shower with towels for more than 20 minutes until they fixed it...
