Excellent location, local feel & luxury living!
We had a wonderful stay here at Hotel Twenty Eight. It was in a great location, with lots of little shops and restaurants nearby. There is a grocery store and the number 24 tram to take you to Central Amsterdam within 20 minutes. The staff were so friendly and helpful during our stay, we really enjoyed talking with them as we came and went on our daily adventures. It was also nice that they spoke fluent English and were always willing to help by suggesting a restaurant or a tour.. it was nice to get advice from locals. We were lucky to get a complimentary upgrade when we arrived, and the hotel let us check in a few hours early because of our overnight travel from Canada. The gym and sauna are a nice touch, however the key card did not work the first few days that we arrived. Room cleaning is something that needs to be better clarified with the hotel. On the sheet they provide to you they state that you get new towels / toilet paper every 2 days. However, we only had room cleaning and those amenities changed on day 4. Wasn't sure if this was an oversight, but with limited space to hang up towels and nowhere for them to dry this was a challenge. One suggestion would be to have instructions for your appliances for your English speaking guests. We had a hard time figuring out the oven since it's a microwave/oven combo! Overall, we loved our stay at Hotel Twenty Eight and plan to return on our travels to Europe next year! :)

I have recently returned from a 3 night stay at this amazing hotel. I was visiting Amsterdam to celebrate my birthday. The hotel staff made me feel extra special by decorating my room and leaving me a lovely note with bottle of presseco to celebrate which was very much appreciated. The room was so spacious and had a modern relaxing feel to it. It was a studio room. It was also cleaned daily & provided with fresh towels. From the moment I arrived in Amsterdam the commuting was so easy. From the airport I caught a bus for 6 euro which drops you right outside the hotel and took 20 mins. I also purchased a 48 day tram ticket from the hotel to explore the city which only takes 15 mins to the centre. You can hire bikes from the hotel for small fee which I did on one of the days to explore the city by bike. The hotel gave helpful tips on places to eat and drink. I will 100% return to this hotel when I next visit. It made my stay extra special 😊

10 out of 10 - Amazing Hotel
This place is amazing, one of the best hotels I've stayed at. Right from check in you will enjoy an awesome welcome, quick check in and then shown to your room and all room features explained. The rooms are more like apartments with full kitchen. The bed has to be one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The hotel is the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in and the staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble and they really care about your stay. The facilities are good and I really enjoyed the sauna. The hotel has bar and restaurant attached both are very high quality serving local and seasonal produce. The area is very convenient for the RAI conference centre and it is directly opposite the Olympic stadium. It's a 5 min walk to the metro for travel to central Amsterdam and also has a tram line right outside the hotel. The hotel also offer bike hire and is a great way to explore the city. I can't recommend this place enough and is probably the 1st time I would give a 10 out of 10 - it really deserves full marks.

Very good 8.0
Hotel in Amsterdam
This hotel is brand new; I mean you could still smell the newness. It also had a kitchen. the room is small but big enough for two as all you need in a room is a bathroom and a bed. Spending all your time in Amsterdam is point of going right? With that said it was totally clean, modern appliances etc. The hotel is a NO CASH hotel, meaning they don't deal with cash only credit. Which is fine. You can buy tickets for tours and the museum and tram, bus passes thru the hotel which is convenient. The public transit, TRAM runs right out front and will take you North into the city. From the hotel to Central Train Station is about 30 minutes. There is also a grocery store right next to the hotel which makes it easy to get food if you chose to cook in your room. Overall it was a nice place away from downtown. There are hotels closer to town but I believe they are more expensive.

A modern funky hotel with retro furnishings
I stayed here during a conference at RAI. It is not walking distance to the conference centre, but it was 2 stops on the Metro away. Akhtough not central in location, the hotel itself is extremely modern with retro interior designs and has a very young and funky feel to it, with very friednly staff. In front of the hotel there is a tram stop (25 mins to Central station). The rooms are modern with warm colour tones, excellent with extremely comfortable beds, good lighting, a comfortable seating area, very modern kitchen (with coffee machine and de Longhi Kettles) an excellent bathroom and wetroom shower. Next door there is a lovely large restaurant where you can have breakfast. All in all- fantastic place!- but expect to use public transport if you need to get to Centre/ RAI.
