The facilities were modern. I liked the heated floor and the space saving shower screen. The bed was very comfortable and when i I rolled over I didn't disturb the wife. The pillows were flat and the room wasnt serviced on sunday which left us with wet towels. Otherwise all was good. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. A+++

To begin with, the communication with the property was almost non-existence as they didn't reply to the message that we sent wasn't replied to. Granted that this is an apartment-styled accomodation and we weren't expecting any reception but at least if the property took time to reply to the message posted through Expedia, it would at least be helpful. The layout of the rooms (there were 3 rooms from what we can gather) were rather bad in terms of noise insulation - our bed was against the wall which held the TV in the next room - and we can hear pretty much what the other room's TV were playing. Cleanliness was one thing we had an issue with - bed sheets were still stained and after a night's of sleep, we were feeling itchy all over. Clearly the sheets needs to be cleaned professionally to avoid such incidences to other guests in the future. Comfort was rather disappointing in two areas: heater and pillows. Heater was a really small sized stuck at one end of the room far away from the bed and the pillows were too soft. Saving grace was the heated shower - it was the most exquisite one so far in our trip in New Zealand so far. Keep it up!

Overall was clean and comfortable. The host was friendly too. Things to note, bathroom and toilet is shared. Not ensuite. We did not realise that the facilities was shared when the bookings were made. We did not have any bad experience with that either. The Jacuzzi and the bathroom was very clean when we checked in. Seemed like no one had used the place before us. Overall, the room is comfortable. The distance to town however, 15minutes drive. We drove downtown to search for dinner after checking in.

Check in was fine - notice on the door and instructions for WiFi etc. inside. Beautiful room - looked absolutely brand new. Decor was lovely. Convenient stop off for us travelling south from Christchurch. Would have liked a table and chairs outside but hey ho - not the end of the world. Found it strange not to have a sink in the kitchen area , but again - no big deal. Would recommend.

Lovely clean modern room. Had a peculiar automatic exhaust fan in the bathroom that would come on then stay on for hours with no off switch, was quite annoying. Also, you have to know the street address because there’s no signposting of the property, just looks like a house on a street. also, you’ve got zero contact with any staff. Just written instructions everywhere. Nice comfy room though!!
