Unique antique sleeping in Marble Falls
Beautiful antiques, convenient location to old Downtown Marble Falls, nice and comfortable common area with TV, snacks and drinks available in kitchen. Kim, the hostess, was very helpful and courteous at all times. Friendly people sharing facilities. Need a greater variety of breakfast foods--homemade menues, pastries, egg casseroles. We've done bed and breakfasts all over the USA and the breakfasts are what we always remember--corned beef hash and eggs, pancakes with fresh peaches, blueberry muffins, etc.

Lovely historic home
We enjoyed our stay very much. My husband's first stay at a bed and breakfast and he loved it. Our room was very nice and bed was very comfortable. Marci and Judy were very accommodating. The house is lovely and they have done an awesome job with the updating and furnishings. We will stay again when we are in the area.

Bed was hard for me. Carpet was not clean. Breakfast portion was very small. Great location and nice property.

Fair 4.0
The room was nicely furnished and was pretty comfortable. Unfortunately, there was a large number of little fabric “pills” on the bed, probably from the blue faux-fur throw at the foot of the bed. The bathroom had been refurbished and was very clean. The room was not well soundproofed. Since the TV in the Bluebonnet Room was not operating, there was little to no TV noise noticeable. Our sense of security and privacy was disturbed when the owner, Bridget, came into the room. She had not been invited. She apologized and introduced herself - her explanation for barging in was that she had neglected to check the registry. If I had had another place to go, or was closer to home, I would have asked for a refund and gone somewhere else. My wife was not happy with meeting the owner in this fashion. The room is adequate, and Marble Falls is a nice place to visit. I’m sorry that I can’t recommend Bridget’s Bed and Breakfast as a place to stay.

Beautiful place but be clear with communication
In the email I received, I did not see a check in time. When we arrived at 12:20 pm there was no one there to let us in. We called the number on the booking and left a msg, no worries. Got a call back at 1:40 from the property manager who told us that check in time was 3 PM but that she could be there in 5. She seemed fine about it and we were pleased not to have to wait. Once we got in, I booked a separate room for my daughter and her best friend. The property manager asked me if breakfast at 9 was ok. I wasn’t sure as we had been riising early the last couple days but thought I had said it was fine. The next morning she showed up to make breakfast, I believe around 8:15. I was the only one up. She made a comment about us not being as early as we thought and I agreed. She then said she wouldn’t have come early if she’d known. I felt it unprofessional. we all ate except my hubbie who wasn’t up yet. I told her we would clean up since he wasn’t ready so she could take off. (She also had a helper show up.) she said she was going to stay for clean up, that my hubby had told her we’d be out by 10. (Check out is noon per the paperwork.) I explained that he hadn’t told me that but we would be out as soon as we could. It took us an hour to wrap up and she and her helper sat in the kitchen waiting. It was very uncomfortable. My hub told me he never told her any time. I felt rushed, uncomfortable and poorly managed. The house itself is fantastic.
