Located in the Island’s popular East End neighborhood, Ocean Mile I-3 is close to local shops, restaurants, nightlife, the multi-use path connecting the entire Island, St. George State Park and the Lighthouse Museum. The vibrant shopping, arts and culinary scene of Apalachicola is just 25 minutes away by car!

Whether splashing in the surf and searching for shells on the miles and miles of unspoiled sugar sand beaches, exploring the Island by bicycle or paddleboard, or just relaxing by the pool with a good book and a refreshing beverage, this charming 300 Ocean Mile vacation rental property delivers the best of the Forgotten Coast.

The exterior of this home offers under-house concrete covered parking, an outdoor shower, and a community grill, and is close to the community pool that also can be seen from the wrap-around deck. 


The main level features the open living/dining/kitchen area, a shared bath, and private balcony. There are views galore, accentuated by one wall of mirrored glass. It’s as if the Gulf is another room in the house! Relax on the comfy sofas, one of which opens into a Queen sleeper, while watching the surf. 

Fix up a pitcher of Margaritas in the well-equipped kitchen, or cook up that catch of the day. Serve it up at the 2 bar stools at the counter that divides the kitchen and living area or on the round glass table that seats 4 or more. 

Up a short flight of stairs, you’ll find the main entrance to the house with a digital lock for self-entry. Here there is a full shared bath with shower, just outside a lovely bedroom with twin beds and a small private balcony. The vaulted ceiling and wicker furnishings and bed-frame lend an airy beach vibe to this pretty room.

Up another short flight, the top-level features a laundry room with stacked washer and dryer, along with the master bedroom oasis that includes a king bed, vaulted ceiling, full bathroom and private balcony. Enjoy captivating views from the wall of windows that allows the sea and sand to be seen from the whole room. Read a book or watch the pelicans dive for their dinner from the deck or comfy wicker chaise lounge. The bathroom features double sinks as well as a tiled shower with a deep tub for relaxing.
