I wanted to use the beach area but there’s no umbrella nor lounge chairs on the beach, the chairs that were there aren’t really for lounging and there’s no covered shade. For a beach front property, this is unacceptable. The pool is very nice and large but overall the property doesn’t offer enough option what beach seekers. There are plenty of taxi or Grab but the property is in an area where there are no attractions nor market nearby. Food offered at the hotel is decent but nothing to brag about. The only pro is that the property is about 15-20 minutes taxi ride to Hoi An where there are lots of attractions and dining venues.

Stopover
A midway break stopover between Hanoi and Saigon. We had travelled down on the night train for 17 hours so we needed a good rest! So relaxing we wished we had added another night. Close proximity to Hoi An is an additional attraction.

Very comfortable bed. Wonderful staff and service. Very clean rooms and hotel. Beautiful large pool, many activities for kids, swing at the pool was so pretty. The beach has some rubbish though. The food was slightly more expensive than eating out. The kids water area did not have water on our first 2 days and we didn’t know how to turn the water on. Saw other guests playing only when we checked out. Had a lovely time.

I booked a King room with pool view/ocean view. It was a beauty. You will enjoy and see the best of both views. Breakfast was good. But wish it would have at least 1 Da Nang known dish such as Mi Quang. One of the manager there Thu Le was wonderful. During breakfast, She greets all guests at each table and have a chat to make sure everything is good. Nhan at La Page Restaurant was extremely great and we’re giving us the best experience while we dine there. He was an exceptional and gave us the best service. By the way, the foods at LaPage Restaurant has best seafood platter and all other dishes. Must eat here!!!! Don’t waste your money to eat outside. Last but not least, all staff at Sheraton Grand were all giving great service and great hospitality. The hotel located just about 5-6 miles away from the main city.

Great family beach holiday hotel
We booked a family trip to Danang and chose Sheraton for its kids pool play area and infinity pool - both lived up to expectations, even if it does get a bit hot on sunny mornings as the resort gets the full brunt of the morning sun and there's not much cover around the pool. Staff are generally friendly - some stand outs were Ms Huong at the buffet breakfast who recommended F&B choices and remembered our family and stopped to talk, even when they were extremely busy; also the pool guard Mr Huong who helped set up our poolside dinner even though it was last order. Hotel food is pricey as expected (especially compared to outside options, but these are about 1/2 hour car ride away) but the quality is good - more Vietnamese/local choices would be appreciated rather than just Western style food.
