Unless you are russian or ukrainian and know your way around, I would not recommend this place. I know that some apartments are administered from other addresses and sent a message before arriving asking for details. No reply of course. So I went to the address. There is supposed to be a "24h front desk", but I was just met by a door. No signs and nothing. Lucky someone just came out so I entered. There was some signs to some hotel service on the first floor so I ringed the door, but they just pointed me to go downstairs. As if I had rang the door to a private apartment. Downstairs was just a hall with unmarked doors. Suddenly a lady came out of one of the doors, which was a dormitory (and presumable doubled as front desk) and after she made a couple phone calls, they found my reservation and gave me the key to a room there. There was no sign whatsoever. Until they improve signage, I do not recommend anyone new in Kiev to come here. It will be hard to find.
Once I had the room, it was OK, good location and decent enough. The only problem was lack of communication and directions.
