A place to remember forever
Amazing stay only have problems with payment. This hotel doesnt work with hotels.com but appears on your platform which isnt good. I paid online for my stay but the manager let me Go as i am waiting for refund from hotels.com Good hotel great stuff and affordable activities

We had a fabulous time at this lodge! We were nearly the only guests after a hectic week and received royal treatment. Our house,142 steps (yup!) up the hill, had fabulous sunset views of the bay/lake, 3 BRs, kitchen and a large balcony to enjoy the views. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The Managers equally so. We enjoyed the snorkeling just in front of the lodge, kayaking on the lagoon and swimming in the pools and a lot of chilling. Check out their website before you go: the lodge is on the other side of the lake and can only be reached by 4x4 or by boat (we chose the latter and paid a young man to watch the car for us for ca 3 USD per day). Last boat leaves by about 5 pm. WIFI signal comes and goes so best to have mobile access. Movitel worked just fine. And if there is no signal, just enjoy the detox! It’s good for all of us to disconnect. Oh yes, the prawns are great. And we tried all the cocktails, you can’t go wrong. Special thanks to Mario, our wonderful waiter.

Lagoon delight
I arrived after the last boat had left from Bilene but not to worry the lovely Rob came and collected me in his 4x4, making the 90 min round trip with good humour. Hotel is lovely. The 117 steps up to the room were a bit of a shock but was moved lower down the following day. Great location for families and solo travellers and great cocktails at the bar!
