I was told my room was ready and when I went to drop off my bags the bed was unmade like someone just got out of it there were towels on the floor in the bathroom, and the toilet was left used. Would have expected some sort of accommodation as this is not what you expect when the hotel is close to $500 a night

    Great Place to Stay

Great time in Chicago for a weekend of Cubs baseball. The location of this hotel was great and within walking distance of all things fun. We also parked in an overnight garage near the hotel that was also super convenient. The hotel itself was very cool and clean. Had a great baseball theme as was well taken care of. 10/10 will go back next time I’m in Chicago.

There was no stay. We booked, and upon arrival, there was no desk attendant. There was phone number for assistance, but no one picked up the line. Both my husband and I attempted calling multiple times in order to check in, but we only got an automated message. We ended up leaving.

BEWARE! Self service hotel w 1 staff on site

Only one staff number on site and only after 4 PM. No new guest can enter hotel at all before 4 PM. Hotel / room access only available through online registration and phone app - and this had enormous tech issues during our stay. Literally, staff at desk checkin had no alternative room key when app was malfunctioning. Room issues at 8 PM were not addressed until following day because nobody was working

    An “Escape Room” Experience

A complete joke. It was like playing a game of “escape the room”. Vague “clues” and information as to how to get into the hotel and room. My buddy and I have never laughed so hard at how complicated and chaotic this hotel experience was. And the rooftop “patio” is an empty space with a sole cinder block in the middle of it???? A property with such potential, but such a joke at this point!

    Broken AC

One of the hottest days in the city, and the air conditioning is broken in the hotel. Insane to charge a standard rate, when you are unable to sleep

We didn't even get to stay at this place even after making a reservation. It took over 2 & a 1/2 hours from when we were told we could check in until we actually got our text with the check-in info needed!!! Called numerous times and never reached anyone by phone even though they say they are available from 2 to 11 on Sunday. We cancelled and went to the majestic, which was amazing by the way!! Idk how this hotel is still receiving bookings.

    Check-in is a guest's first impression

The location, decoration, bed, TV and decoration of the room were all excellent. Not to mention a roof top view of Clark street. If you are going to Wrigley Field for a game or for a night out in the area, this is a great place. If you are not patient however, the non-human, automated check-in process and inability to consistently get into your room using the key phone app will make you never want to return. It seems like this is a hotel in it's infancy and the price per night is adjusted accordingly. Once all the kinks and remodeling are complete this will be a $500 a night hotel. .01 miles to Wrigley Field? It's unheard of. I suggest that the hotel make adjustments to the details of how check-in will occur (4 PM - no earlier) and have someone onsite at 4 PM to assist with the process. Overall, I understand the negative reviews from others. Check-in is the first impression and if that goes bad look out. Now that I have been through the experience, I would return with my wife, but not with my in-laws and family friends who are less tolerant of technology hiccups and less iPhone/app savvy.

Strangest hotel experience of my life!

The room and hotel had awesome decor. However, the hotel had no concierge or check-in staff on site. Our electronic keycard was deactivated after we had already checked in and put our bags in our room. It resulted in my boyfriend and I being stuck outside of the hotel for over half an hour at midnight waiting for someone to arrive to let us in. Not to mention they have an amenity fee which I find absolutely ridiculous when you make it so complicated to even get inside. We were not the only people with issues either. Great location and decor but staying here would be a mistake!

The unmanned concept is weird. There is no way to drop your bags off before check in because the doors are locked and you won't get an e-key until 4pm. Myself and 2 other groups of ppl were let in by another person staying there. All of us texting to figure our how to leave our bags. and finally one person finally got them to send a house keeper who literally put our bags in a corner next to the elevators, where anyone could take them. I also had technical issues where the confirmation number didn't work in their mobile site. I had to wait for someone to fix it while I was standing outside of the building. Their text response time was awful. And then the "amenities" There's only a communal microwave in the lobby. Also water.... there isn't a cup for tap or a bottle of water in sight. This is wrigleyville people. EVERYONE need water the morning after a night in Wrigleyville. Duh.
