Good apartment
My partner and I had a really nice stay in Vila Lacman. The room had all of the basics, a really comfy bed and a nice balcony space. A short 10-minute walk to the restaurants and bars along the seafront and the main square. The Lacman family were really good hosts and always happy to chat.

Nice room with good facilities and fab views
We stayed for four nights. The room was clean bright and airy with great views from the balcony. Excellent facilities provided and use of shared kitchen. The bathroom was great and the bed really comfortable. The proximity to beaches and town and various bars and restaurants was a decent walk away ( in various directions!). And there was a small grocery store 200 m away for the less mobile or energetic. Our hosts were helpful and charming. They very kindly provided beach towels which was a nice unexpected touch.

Be a part of the neighborhood family.
Only a short walk uphill (and up steps!) … but on the positive side you are halfway up to the fortress path only a short 5 minute (flat) walk away! The family is very kind and very precise. We enjoyed our stay, the small balcony, hotpot & dishes (bring your own coffee/tea). Short walk to grocery too! Great views from balcony. Lovely stay.

A real family home turned family hostel just far enough away from the centre to escape the hum of party music but a short walk from the beautiful coastline. The owners are available and kind, but never intrusive, open to sharing stories about the country and their lives, finding you a cup of tea, or giving recommendations on what to see and do. Come in November if you want some free lemons, grown right over the well equipped kitchen and barbecue which is available for use. The rooms are cleaned daily, comfortable, well maintained, with pleasant balconies, a small fridge, utensils for breakfast, and an air conditioner. There's a first aid kit by the door and a cat close by at all times. It feels like nothing is missing. A treat overall, at all times.
