Great location, great staff & poor air con
The view from our sea front cabin was spectacular. The cabins are clean and the bed was comfortable. The air con was terrible. They use some eco system that barely cooled the room. If you like frosty AC, maybe not best choice for you. Staff were great, breakfast was great, location was great and the beach was kept clean.

The staff made our stay at Sol Beach so special, they were friendly but not overbearing. The property was cleaned and the sand racked every day. Trash is an issue on the island but at Sol Beach everything was clean with no trash. The massages were affordable and amazing making our time completely relaxing.

Restaurant and bar staff we thoughtful and attentive. We really enjoyed our Swedish massage. The room and bed was comfortable. For the price we would expect a swimming pool. Our bathroom had some marks on toilet and in the bath as well as mould around the shower. The fridge should already be in the room. We weren’t told on arrival that we could request one.

It was low season and really not a lot going on on the beach. Went snorkeling and was besieged by noisy chinese tourists all in life vests. corals were heavily damagedy these tourists

The Resort was lovely and the staff wonderful. I would however caution that if you are coming in from Phnom Penh plan to stay your first night in Shianoukville and to get off the Island the day before return flights. We missed the last ferry and they can get cancelled so ended up having to pay for extra accommodations on those days.

A treat for the end of a busy sightseeing trip.
It was a lovely relaxing end to a 3 week trip round Vietnam and Cambodia. We did struggle to communicate with the resort for our arrival as there were wrong telephone numbers quoted on corespondance. As a result we slogged up the beach with our backpacks which was not a great start. However after that all went well and they looked after us very well indeed.
