    Unfriendly welcoming

Employee very short with me. When filling out paperwork, I asked what the date was and was told "i don't know, look at the paper". Ouch! Room was ok but couch has seen better days and no way i was going to sit on it. Bathroom and bedroom were in good shape and clean

    Terrible front desk lady

Front desk lady was horrible. So rude. Kept calling me to see when I would get there and it wasn’t even late - she complained to me about how she was hungry and wanted to go home. I was shocked and have never experienced anything like that

This is a good location for visiting the Northern Cascades and Concrete is a cute old town. This hotel could be so much more if only they would fix it up more. The room was cramped and signs posted around the room concerning what not to do (run shower fan at night, dishes in sink, towel uses etc). For the rate it was just ok.

    Carpet stained

The carpet was very stained and dirty. The inn had notes posted threw out the room with what to do and what not to do. If you cause a problem you would be charged for it. Example: stain on the towels.

    Good hotel

We expected a 2 bed hotel room so were very surprised by the size of the apartment that we received for our rental. From my booking I did not know that the front office closed at 7pm. We were without cell service all day hiking in North Cascades, and about 10 till 7 I received a call from the front desk. She was polite but sounded very rushed and explained how to navigate our late arrival. We got there and got into the room and had a comfortable night. There was a full kitchen and cookware provided. Only real complaints are that we were provided a small bottle of shampoo and a half used bottle of lotion, and since the front desk was closed there was no way to obtain more. Also, one of the beds was pretty uncomfortable, but it worked for a single night. I would return.

The hotel manager Melinda is by far the rudest person I have met. The hospitality was atrocious. Upon check in, she provided instructions stating our room was on the left side on the ground floor. When we could not find it my friend rang her (she barely spent any time at the front desk) to be confronted by her screaming down the phone stating 'Do you not know your left and right?' to be followed by her hanging up on us. We eventually found the room which was on the first floor, not ground. After that we avoided all interactions with her. By far the worst stay I have experienced. Avoid at all costs!

Angry lady refused to give us our rooms!

Last night we called ahead to let them know we would be arriving late. Arrangements were made for the keys to be in the mailbox out front. We arrived at 10:30 pm. When we arrived, the electronic keys did not work. We could not get into our room. We called the front desk number and this evil lady started yelling saying “You woke me up!! She said to go downstairs to pick up another key. She put the key outside the window without speaking to us. We tried the second key. It did not work! So we tried calling and she hung up on us. We went over to the window and started knocking on the window. She wouldn’t come out to help us. We kept knocking on the window because we had no where else to stay. She already charged our credit card for the night!! Finally after tapping on the window for 5 minutes she came out yelling and screaming “ Get off the property!!” “Get off the property” She ran back to her room and never came out again. We were shocked that she refused to help us and denied us our rooms which she had charged us for. This lady is pure evil, I did not read the reviews prior but there are several reviews showing how insane her behavior is. This women denied children a bed to sleep in. Please protect your family and do not come here.

This would be an excellent location for an extended stay. It was a two bedroom apartment and was newly updated and very clean. The only issue was one wall unit was not enough to cool down the place. The bedrooms were hot, maybe not an issue during a triple digit heat wave we had. I would suggest ceiling fans in the rooms.
