work in progress
Room/beds comfortable, a/c worked well. Bathroom was OK but not super clean (corners w/ hair); outside deck for view was an awesome PLACE; but dirty. If you walked barefoot, you would have to wash your feet the tiles were very dirty. Old grill, rugs etc. left lying around on deck. Just a little elbow grease and paint could make a world of difference. Difficult to find, no sign or clear address marking from the road, taxi drivers not familiar.

Bizarre “Check-In” Process
No phone number, no signage, no checkin counter. The rooms are nice but you could literally not find this place and there is noone to help you. Never received email instructions on the room keys. The room porter happened to be awake to help us. Bizarre non-existent check-in process. Otherwise the room and view was nice and very comfortable.

AWFUL - probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed
Probably the worst hotel I've stayed in in the past 45 years - scary place! You get dropped off by your cab in the middle of a street and have to climb several flights of stairs down the side of the mountain to get to your rooms. There is no lobby, the staff person just has a cellphone. The rooms were dirty, bathroom moldy and mildewy, no real working locks on the door. I wish I could give this a zero star rating. Stay anywhere else - not here - AWFUL!

NO NO NO!! First I'd like to say, I am SHOCKED that this place has decent reviews. The first problem we had was, locating this place. Once we found it, we were met with what appeared to be an abandoned construction site, with 3 signs posted saying, KEEP OUT, KEEP OUT, KEEP OUT!!! We had to call the Office, (wherever that is, because it's not on site), and we expressed our concern with the area being unsafe and sketchy. I was extremely polite, but the lady acted as if I was out of line for describing what I was seeing. She told me to go down the stairs beside the construction site and I would be in Villa 3. She told me I could find the key on the table. As we arrived though, beside this property were other run down properties littered with junk and debris. The property just to the left had a large chained up pitbull, barking very loud and aggressively. Once we entered the Villa, I will say at least it was clean. Nonetheless, it was still unsafe, sketchy and not welcoming. I told my wife to let's walk the property and see if we can find a way to feel safe. We walked down one more flight of stairs, to what we "thought" was the balcony will amazing views. As soon as we got down there, some guy yells, saying, "get out of here, this is private". That was it, we were getting the hell out of this dump. When we called the office back to ask for relocating, they simply hung up on us. won't refund us, they are sending us a $25 gift card for our next stay.

Skyline villa vista needs improvement
Original room in skyline vista villa was not as advertised. It was significantly different than the picture. It had a strange smell, not clean, very dark and the lay out was very odd. There were also many danger and hazardous things about the rooms/patio for our kids. We were moved to a cleaner place in a different location after the first night, which was better.

Good view, but nothing much beyond that
The map shows that the property is right next to the Blackbeard’s castle and within walking distance to downtown area. It is not! It is actually much higher up near the overlook. (Google map is correct. Check that out.) This means it is very expensive to go anywhere because you have to hire a taxi or rent a car. I was counting on the location to at least have access to restaurants without paying cab fee. So it was a bummer. Another issue with this property is that many equipments are dysfunctional: the stove and oven in our room has no power. There are three dryers and two washers on site, but only one dryer and one washer are functional, which means you have to wait for a long time to get laundry done. The final issue is there is no front desk staff here, which means you have to call them in advance for check-in, and there is no housekeeping service. I would say other than the price and the view, I did not enjoy staying here at all. If you can find a room $50-100 more expensive than this one, but in a better location with real hotel service, I would avoid this one.

Amazing views in a clean and practical place
On St. Thomas its not like you are going to expect a 5 star resort however once inside this place it has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Beds were comfortable and the place seemed to be recently updated. Very clean and inviting. The dishwasher and the jetted tub in the bedroom was out of order but didn't care. Having a washer and dryer inside the place was a huge plus. If we come back will ensure I stay at this place again.

Don’t judge a book by its cover
I didn’t know what to think when the taxi driver dropped me off. The Villa is on a mountain so you only see a small sign and a steep staircase going down. However once I get inside my room, I was impressed with the high ceilings, amenities, bathroom and sleeping conditions. The only complaint I have is not getting a email prior to my date/time of checkin to make sure I’m aware of the unique check in style. Their isn’t a front desk, just a phone number to call and let the person on the other end know you’ve arrived.

Family run with great views and peaceful setting
Great views and clean room. Overall family run place that caters to providing you a friendly and local experience. Anything we needed the folks would provide assistance. With most of the island still recovering from the hurricane damage from 2017 they as well and have plans to bring on site food options and additional renovations. Will be coming back for the great views as well as friendly staff. Community cooking and living room area also was great as you get to meet all other guest and enjoy good conversations. If you are looking for a great value and friendly place to stay in St. Thomas check this place out. Well worth the price and great view of the city and island.
