Not as luxurious as NY or LA NoMad but still nice
Not the exclusive luxury style that you expect from the New York and Los Angeles NoMad hotels but still nice stylish rooms. The top four floors (29-32) of the recently remodeled Monte Carlo now called Park MGM are what make up the entirety of the Las Vegas NoMad Hotel. The rooms all have oak hardwood floors but that is the only difference I noticed from the low priced Park MGM rooms which have the same style as the NoMad rooms. Both have eclectic framed art arranged in similar styles. Both have unique, vintage-looking furniture. The bed is very much new and comfy however. The linens may be higher end in NoMad rooms. There was a tiny closet and very small dresser despite the Grande suite being two large rooms which included a pedestal bath tub in the bedroom. The walk in shower has high pressure fixtures and a separate vanity area and a completely separate water closet near the entrance to provide couples privacy when nature calls. There hallways were quiet and beautifully decorated. The same attention to style was lacking in the rooms themselves which have plain beige wallpaper and basic ceramic wall tiles in the bathroom. The floor mosaic tiles look great but apparently the style budget didn’t stretch to include the walls. There is a separate check in area (which is hard to find and not marked anywhere unless you are driving in) away from the chaos of the Park MGM check in kiosks. The NoMad restaurant library is beautiful and an expanded menu from the NY and LA location

Great Location on the Strip!
It was our first time staying at Nomad Hotel. It’s a great location with near by amenities. We only had one issue; I stepped on a small piece of broken glass in the bathroom and cut my foot. I called the front desk and asked them to re-send housekeeping up to our room to sweep it again. The entire staff including management were very accommodating with the exception of housekeeping; she was doubtful and even said she couldn’t see it when I found several glass slivers for her. She asked to see my foot which she still looked doubtful. Lol Nonetheless, it took a bandaid and agood dousing of hydrogen peroxide when I got home, and I’m fine. We might stay here again, but will most likely go back to our favorites Aria and The Four Seasons

The NoMad Las Vegas is the old Monte Carlo Hotel. The staff that greets you upon arrival is very friendly and welcoming! We were immediately offered discount coupons for drinks at the NoMad bar. I loved the location on the Vegas strip. The hotel is walking distance from food and shopping venues. I liked that the NoMad is attached to the Park MGM, because I had tickets to see Janet Jackson there one of the nights. I enjoyed dinner in the NoMad restaurant, and it had a nice ambiance with the library. Their signature chicken dish is tasty but very overpriced. I did not like that we had a difficult time getting beach chairs at the upstairs pool party. The seats are reserved, but NoMad guests are supposed to have access. We eventually got chairs, but it should not have taken four security guards to provide this. Overall, I would stay here again.

NoMad - no more for us
Although this is "newly remodeled", the place feels old and like a cave. The decor is dark, with curtains covering the wall "European style" and making everything seem rather oppressive. While the rest of the MGM Park hotel seems light and airy, this part (the NoMad - hotel within a hotel) was always like going into some dark grotto. You get the feeling as soon as you step out of the casino into the waiting area for the elevators. We had a "suite" with a sitting area, but the sofa was not really comfortable and the suite was nothing more than a larger room with a half-circle sitting area. No coffee maker, no fridge, just a mini-bar where the scale was set to let you look at something for a minute, decide if you really wanted the item, and then charged it to your room. The service was good, the people nice, but unfortunately the decor really was a downer. We won't be staying here again.

Great Service, Boutique Feel
I had a very nice stay at the Nomad. You get the feeling of a boutique hotel even on a big property. The staff was all very helpful and welcoming (especially Sandy at the front desk). I had a billing issue with F&B credit, but the front desk was able to get it fixed in just a few minutes and was very apologetic about the problem. The room was huge, clean, and comfortable with a great view. I did hear my upstairs neighbors a little too clearly, but the rest of the floor was quiet. The room service food was just ok, but the service itself was fast and friendly. There's so much great food onsite with Eataly, Best Friend, and the Nomad bar and restaurant - I'd recommend staying here just for that!
