4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Veneto
Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Veneto is during January, February, and November, when hotel prices are typically lower. For those on a budget, a stay of at least 2 days is recommended to fully appreciate the region's key historical landmarks and cultural sites. This will allow you to explore the rich heritage and natural attractions that Veneto has to offer, making it a great value for money experience. Additionally, prices may drop during these months, making it an even more enticing option for travellers looking to make the most of their visit.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals in Veneto, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted accommodation rates as your travel date approaches. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so you're more likely to see price drops or availability changes for your preferred hotels, making it easier to plan a spontaneous getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you save on your stay in a Veneto hotel. For those seeking distinctive experiences, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and sometimes better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we’ll suggest alternative dates that could help you score a better deal.
Consider your location: Staying in the bustling city centre of major cities in Veneto certainly offers the convenience of being close to local attractions, but it's important to note that this convenience often comes with a higher price tag. Accommodations in these prime locations are more likely to be costly compared to those found in smaller towns or rural areas, which tend to be more affordable. For those looking to save, considering hotels just outside the city centre may lead to better rates, although it might mean some additional travel to reach key sights. Alternatively, exploring nearby cities can reveal a wealth of experiences while providing more budget-friendly options for your stay.
