We read the reviews and had a great time with the proper expectations of what we were getting into. When we were there, the beach was very quiet and this section of beach in front of the hotel is a protected section of beachfront. There was no riffraff or peddlers or anything like that. Plenty of space under the umbrella is for people to sit right in front of the water. The water was crystal clear, and the sand was beautiful, except for one day when the seaweed came during the evening and collected on the beach front. The staff started working to clear it up the next day, and it really didn’t bother us.
To be clear, this is not an all inclusive, but It did include an all you can eat breakfast buffet, which was out of this world. The Donnie options along the speech are really second to none. Affordable prices compared to dining out at nice restaurants in the United States and there was great seafood everywhere.
Our hotel room was very clean and everything worked properly. The beds were somewhat stiff but that wasn’t too big of a deal.
There is an excursion shack out by the beach and we had a nice sunset tour with snorkeling for 35 bucks per person and we went on 4 x 4’s for two hours at $75 per vehicle. We had such a great time.
There is limited staff at the front desk, so be prepared to wait a little while and they were under construction for a movie set that they are doing inside the building while we were there but I imagine that is complete now
