When I asked to extend my stay yesterday early (6:30 am) morning for one night I ask the older palm colored man at the front desk if I can have towels, he reached behind the counter and put two towels on the counter like it was problem. i told him I couldn’t take them cause we were leaving for a tour —— he left the towels on the counter and after I paid, I said “ can you please have someone take the towels upstairs and take out the trash, I personally don’t think I should have to take the towels back upstairs as a paying customer also”… he said he would. I said, I’ll be gone for most of the day so they will have plenty of time, no rush !
Came back, no new towels, no new cups, trash over flown. Pile of used towels still on the floor. I paid for each night( 3) and it’s really disheartening that the guy blatantly ignored my request and didn’t even try to meet our needs. I asked polite. All I wanted is to come back after a long day to empty trash cans and new towels. I’ve never stay anywhere where they don’t at least take out the trash. Even if the guest are staying another night. I also only described him as a white guy cause I don’t know his name, and he is also the one at the front desk as I am typing this. The guy that checked us in on the first night was very nice and helpful though.
