After visiting Jiading Confucian Temple, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Shanghai. Amble around the area's parks or visit its temples.
If you're planning a bit of sightseeing, head to Jiading Nanxiang Ancient Town – just one of the monuments in Jiading District. Our travellers also like the museums in the area – your cultural tour starts here. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander. Shanghai has other landmarks that you might want to visit, such as The Bund.
You can spend an afternoon browsing the exhibits at Shanghai Auto Museum during your trip to Shanghai. Make time to visit the spas and temples while you're in the area.

Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel on the Bund
10/10 Excellent
"Great property with amazing staff and only a short walk from Yu Garden as it is just around the corner from the hotel. The room we were in was perfect in size and had a nice view of the Shanghai skyline. Highly recommended. "
"Room size very good! Located on an excellent location. One block from the famous walking shopping street. The staffs are excellent. The only thing need to improve is the hair dryer, air comes out way too strong. Definitely gave you a typhoon hairstyle."
"Excellent location, eateries, shops, metro station, all on your door step. Swish hotel, lovely, clean and very large rooms. Would highly recommend!!!!"
"Would have scored excellent for all, however, at buffet breakfast when one of the staff had asked if I wanted a tea, she did not come back with my tea"
