Things to Do in Gyeongju

There are so many things to do in Gyeongju that it requires a bit of planning if you want to see them all. Known as the ‘Museum without Walls’, Gyeongju was where Silla rulers resided for over 1,000 years. This city is where you can have a glimpse of the ancient Silla kingdom, as you can visit buildings and archaeological sites dating back to that period. 

Gyeongju is also popular for its charming landscape – you’ll find mountains, hiking trails, springtime flowers, cherry blossoms, and forest reserves. What makes exploring this city very convenient is that most of the sites are at a walking distance from one another.
