What is Pratunam Most Famous For?
Any list of the must-see attractions in Pratunam can only start at one place, which also happens to be among the tallest places in Bangkok. The Baiyoke Tower, at 340 meters tall, dominates the Bangkok skyline and is a focal point of the area. That’s not to say there aren’t any other interesting things to do in Pratunam, an area usually more associated with its long list of shopping options rather than sightseeing.

Baiyoke Tower Observation Deck

Pratunam Market is a center of all things shopping in the small namesake area of central Bangkok. This market epitomizes market shopping in Bangkok, where the emphasis is firmly on affordable garments.

Baiyoke Floating Market

Pantip Plaza is one of the most famous Bangkok electronics malls. Often considered the mother of all IT shops in Thailand, it has gained legendary status as the place to find new and used computers and accessories at rock-bottom prices.
