Best in class near GoG
The grounds are fantastic to stroll or do a hike. The location right next to and in part of the GoG is fabulous! Breakfast on the castle balcony, spectacular and very good food!

A gem. We loved staying here.
Such a lovely, quiet place to stay. We stayed between conferences, it seems, and had the place to ourselves at Cedar Ridge. Hiking was amazing. The rate was super reasonable. We would love to come back again.

Storybook setting
We absolutely loved our stay Glen Eyrie! There was a wonderful breakfast buffet included each morning, and the setting was gorgeous. Our room was in one of the lodges, and it was not fancy, but very clean and adequate. The scenery as you walked out the door more than made up for the plain room! We saw deer and turkey everywhere and enjoyed one of the hikes recommended by the staff. Great location, too. We plan to return again!

A Must Stay for At Least One Time
This is one of the most unique and incredible places to stay in Colorado Springs. If you need lodging in the area, you must stay here at least once. It is a 700-acre property with a fascinating history. I don't think I need to go into how beautiful and scenic the place is. In addition, the service was excellent and all the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The only thing to note is that you might be staying in a separate building (lodge) on the property. They have like five other buildings/lodges besides the actual castle itself. If you want to stay in the castle, you will have to specifically request a room there.

Beautiful castle, too bad about the mold.
The castle itself is beautiful, although we stayed in an adjacent lodge rather than the main building. The lodge was a basic building, nothing too special. Parking was down the road, and there was nowhere to stop in front of the building to drop off our luggage. We also found a roof leak with presumed black mold in the hallway. Our air conditioner stopped working in the night, so sleeping was difficult. We did notify the front desk, but unsure of the outcome.

Probably one of the most unique places you can stay in Colorado Springs - yet surprisingly affordable, comparable If not better than any quality hotel in the area. Historical, beautiful, extremely accommodating, excellent chef inspired breakfast buffet (included !). My top choice, and I travel there a lot for necessary family care.

Very good stay. The room in the main castle was very nice. The breakfast was unexpectedly good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Many of the rooms were being renovated but the construction work did not detract from the peaceful quiet of the facility. Highly recommend for a getaway.
