Queen Mary 2 and Lovely Falling Snow from the 10th
For the second time in the off-season, we received a room upgrade to the ocean side, this time on the 10th floor. The room was a decent size, although not overly spacious, but with wide windows, wgich was awesome, because the Queen Mary 2 made an emergency stop about midnight and I had a fantastic view! What a treat!! The jets weren't working in the hot tub, but it was still hot and perfect for my physio. The water in the showers was pleasantly nice and warm for my shower this time (seemed to not get hot another time) and everyhing you need is there: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hair dryer. The room upgrade gave me use of a robe, which I appreciate for roaming the halls and elevator. The (premium) rooms have flip mirors with a highly-magnified side, which I appreciate very much for my diminishing eyesight. You also receive a vial of lavender and chamomile essential oil for sleep aid. The snow in the morning was beautiful! We just missed the breakfast buffet - a seasonal end time difference, I think. We had a limited menu at the bar in the interim. I thougt the price was high for the continental, but it actually had quite a bit of food and the server packed up part of it and gave us canned juice, so we could finish eating on our provincial bus. We had come in on the train the night before and the Westin is perfect for both ends of the trip. I look forward to our next stay!

    Fair 4.0
Well the check in staff wasn’t too personal. Didn’t get a warm welcome, the room next door was loud and there door always slammed shut. Then we got woken up early with hammering and grinding.
