2/10 Poor

Great staff, close to stfair but poor room quality

Staff was great. Location was great for getting to the State Fair and catching the free bus ride from a nearby church parking lot. However, the overall poolside, king bedroom was in poor shape with our pool side door unusable, a main light switch that didn't work, a toilet that didn't flush half the time and upon returning our smoke free room reeked of very strong marijuana. The restaurant attached was very nice with great staff.

8/10 Very good

Don’t let the reviews scare you away. My friends and I (group of girls 23-27) stayed for two nights for a festival in town. Besides the thin walls and the weird smells in the hallways, the room was clean, everything worked and you get exactly what you pay for. Front desk was friendly and answered all of our questions. Decent enough for what we needed.
Emma, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Hotel night staff was great. We will stay here again for a reasonably priced room in the area.
Amanda, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

Had to wait 10-15 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to check us in. First room was supposed to be nonsmoking but it reeked of cigarette smoke. We had to ask for a new room. Bed was comfortable.

Clean nice room

6/10 Good

Good, but could be better with a little TLC

Booked this location because of vicinity to our event, but was not overwhelmed. The hotel, in general, has all the basics but could be a lot better just by sprucing it up. The room was clean and amenities like fridge, hairdryer, etc. all working. Bed was comfortable and TV worked. The main door had a dead bolt, but no chain lock. The door to the pool was not working, The shower could use a couple grab bars for better safety, The so-called breakfast was pathetic.. a few sparse mini pastries and toast. They have a nice big room for it - just not utilizing it. There were no towels available in the pool even though there was a shelf unit for them, and the whirlpool seemed to have loose tiles at the bottom. The bar area was large but the music too loud and the hours inadequate (closed at 11pm on a Saturday night?) Parking was limited and sketchy at best (a semi-truck took up about ten spaces). Overall, it would take not too much to elevate this adequate stay to an above average one.

Ok

It was ok for what we needed. It was a little rough on the condition of the space. Window is cracked and broken, sink had no cold water, door did not dead bolt, spot on the bedspread. Friendly staff.

Not as scary as other say this place is

Our stay was fine...clean room and probably the most comfortable bed ive slept on for a hotel in years..
Jason, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

2 nights, after first night got a new room as the AC broke, after 2nd night in the morning the toilet lever broke so that was unusable then. But staff in the lobby was super friendly
Erik, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

I get to the facility and after they run my card so I can't get my money back they tell me there's 100$ deposit. We had to switch rooms in first 20mins 3x because of things not working at all the air, the tv, the phone, and the fridge. I will never go to this facility again. Rooms are very outdated, it was loud and I did not sleep well whatsoever. Staff were not very friendly at all.
Ashley, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Broken glass outside the entranceway, noisy children thundering up and down the hallway, breakfast offering was very limited including moldy fruit salad Facility is run down but pretty clean and pool was definitely chlorinated
lisa, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

It was worn down and gritty. Restaurant service was great but food was horrid.
Alicia, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

it's ok

No hand holds in shower, bathroom small but worked ok, parking lot dirty and in need of repair, very quiet, comfortable bed and chair, very friendly at check in and helpful.
Lyle, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

They should tell you when booking online that they want $100 deposit on top of it. There is no continental breakfast. The lady was rude at check-in. But the room was very clean and it was nice.
Martin, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Or first room had a broken window that would not shut and smelled horrible. The staff was nice and moved us to another room that smelled better and the window was not broken.
Jamie Rae, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The hotel is listed as a 2 star hotel. The building condition and common areas are the main drivers for the rating. The rooms were nice with microwave, fridge, and all the other amenities you would expect. The staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was a big surprise. When a customer asks about breakfast, the front desk provides them with a sack breakfast (pastry, fruit bar, apple and a juice box). This was not what I was expecting, but it worked and fit our budget. Given the location and price, this was a very reasonable place to stay.
Steve, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

We stayed at the property for 5 nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean and odor-free. The hallways smelled of smoke. On the weekend it was very noisy and a bit scary. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything. We could not use the pool or jacuzzi. It was unavailable. There was no breakfast as advertised but the room was cheap.
Esther, 3-night trip

4/10 Fair

Very overpriced for what you get. This is an extremely rundown and sketchy property. I had no issues with my car getting broken into but one did worry. The bed was comfortable and the pool clean. It wasn’t all bad but the room reeked of pot smoke and there were cigarette burns all over the bedspread. Do not be lured in by the promise of a free breakfast. It is a pitiful styrofoam plate of equally “plastic” food. In this case, we did not get what we paid for.
Frank, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

The hotel staff was very pleasant. The building could definitely use some upgrading. Gum on the wall, cigarette burns on the comforter, smelt like stale cigarette/ weed. The pool looked inviting but was closed and the hot tub was empty. We ended up only staying one of the nights and I paid for 2. I wont include photos but i did take some. When i called to tell them i wasnt coming for my 2nd night i couldnt understand the staff member. ( a male)
2-night trip

4/10 Fair

The beds are hard as rock as they are old spring beds. Smelt of weed as soon as you enter the building. Pool wasn’t in service. No breakfast to be seen. Parking is hard to find. It was not an enjoyable experience at all. Heard people knocking on doors late at night. We didn’t feel safe there. Definitely wasn’t worth the cost that I spent to stay one night.
