Comfortable for short stays
I asked and was given a downstairs room as I have a disability which I appreciated. However I doubt there were enough staff as there was a lot of doubling up, eg, reception staff had to help with my luggage plus serve in the bar which meant a delay most times.

Holiday inn express, Edinburgh Airport.
Enjoyed one night stay here - catching an early flight next day. There’s a restaurant but not sure I’d eat there again. Stay included breakfast - but that was disappointing. Although it’s served from 4 am theirs is no hot food til later on. Plenty of tea/coffee and lots if cold meat, cheese, cereals etc. the main issue I felt was the location of the shuttle bus. I was Informed it was right outside the arrivals hall (bus stop H) but this is not the case. There’s a notice stuck on the glass of the bus shelter which states that the shuttle bus now leaves from bus stop 10. For me the walk is not an issue but for others it’s a good walk. Near to the tram stop - if you know Edinburgh Airport at all. The shuttle runs regularly 24/7. Friendly driver. It costs £2.50 return. So price is fine. Although nearby I would not recommend walking to the Hotel. The shuttle bus serves an airport car park too, it all runs very efficiently, but factor it into your times for getting to the airport. Great service the shuttle - plenty of room on it.

Excellent stay
Have stayed several times before early flights. Friendly checkin staff. Had meal and cocktail in bar area. Very nice area to sit in. Bed was the comfiest I’ve ever slept in. My mum also slept like a log! Shuttle bus to and from terminal stops right at door. Highly recommend and will return. Thank you.

Convenient for early flights
This place was convenient for our early flight out of Edinburgh. The hotel offered breakfast starting at 4:00am, which made it easy to quick grab some food before our flight. There is a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel. You have to pay a small fee to take the shuttle from the hotel back to the airport.

Yea lovely clean and well laid out room. Excellent shower. Beds comfy but maybe a bit hard on tbe mattress/pillow side. Obvious as its at an airport but was woken by a plane taking off about 5am! Very good bar staff - chatty and knowledgable. Breakfast excellent.

Everything was fine but this time with breakfast was terrible- cold food and not a lot of choice, very dirty table, not clean after previous customers, they didn't add food on time. I have a few reservations in the future and I have hope that will be better next time

Family trip
A large concert was going on adjacent to the hotel. It was super loud all night. I was not informed that a concert was happening and the noose was terrible. I reserved 4 rooms for 6 people and it was a huge waste of money. The hotel is old and somewhat run down. Carpeting is old and stained. It did seem to be fairly clean.

There are better options for the money.
Overpriced to say the least. Served undercooked/partially raw chicken at dinner. Allocated noisy room above kitchen fans and our polite request to change room wasn’t particularly well received. Rooms were spotless though. The hotel was sort of close enough to the airport but you still need their shuttle bus. Would seriously consider other options before rushing back.
