Quality Hotel Dresden West
The hotel is located in an industrial area, convenient to the Autobahn. There is an infrequent bus service, with the stop some distance away across a 4 lane highway. Tram service (No. 7) is a short drive away at the P and R. Service is frequent and it goes to the Hbf which is located within easy walking distance to everything. As to room. Clean, comfortable bed. But, the room is quite dark, as lighting is given short shrift. One desk lamp of 40 watts. One light over bed of lesser wattage and a wall sconce of 20? watts with a thick shade. So it was not really possible to comfortably read.The lamp over the bed flickered and was burning out. Took 2 days to get it changed. Seems the staff leave notes about it but don't take action. The other problem is the shower. It's a really good shower, but it's an in-tub shower. The tub is very deep. The rim came to mid thigh on me,so it was a safety matter getting in and out. I'm of average height, so shorter persons may have real difficulty. Breakfast was 5 euros extra,but well worth it. There is a restaurant with a nice, but limited menu and a bar in the lobby area. CNN was in the channel listing,but not available.All other programs are in German, mostly dubbed American TV series.

Quiet neighborhood, comfortable hotel
The hotel was clean and comfortable, but a little distance from town. It was in a quiet neighborhood with not much around. But we were interested in town, so it didn't manner.

Good service.
Was greeted by friendly staff, that could inform me that the hotel was full. Apparently hotels.com did not inform the hotel that I was arriving. The manager found a solution though. Nice staff and nice rooms.

We thought we were just booking a cheap hotel for the evening as we would be traveling on to our destination and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. And although the breakfast isn't included I would recommend it as it is very large and much better than most hotel breakfasts.

Good stop outside of town
This is a good value hotel about 10 km from the interesting part of Dresden. There is nothing in the immediate area as far as food or other options as it is in a commercial area. Worth the stay if willing to drive. Hotel is dated and could stand to be refreshed, but nothing was terrible.

Great Budget Hotel
For the price, it was a bargain. We stayed here on our way to Poland. Not sure how good this would be if you were here to see Dresden since its kind of far away from the City. We will probably stay here again.

Decent hotel, but must have a car to get around.
This should be obvious to anyone considering this hotel and thus has done some research, but I'll note: the location is far out of Dresden. You must have a car to get around. As such, the on-site parking can be quite tight although there are many spots to start with. If you are okay with that, this could be an economical alternative to staying inside Dresden. The hotel itself is decent, clean and with sufficient amenities. Staff was nice, wifi worked, breakfast was reasonable (but we didn't get it), bar/restaurant facility. The only thing that didn't work was the computer in the lobby. For US travelers, think of "Quality Hotel" as "Quality Inn"-- they are the same chain.

Convenient for travelers who move around by cars
We have traveled from Slovakia to England via Poland and Germany by car and Dresden happened to be a middle point for us. The hotel is easy to access from the German highway system and quite convenient for us. We did not have a chance to visit Dresden, however, if you are traveling by car and would not mind a hotel far from the main areas, this hotel would be ideal in economical point of view.

Dresden Quality
This hotel is in the industrial area of a small town very close to Dresden. You may need a GPS to find it but it's more than worth while when you get there. They have clean, well equipped rooms and provide a very nice full breakfast. In addition they offer a great evening buffet dinner at a very reasonable price. After our experience here, we tried Quality Inn's in other German cities and were equally impressed and satisfied with them.
