One Night in Gainesville

I was in town for a baseball game at Condron Ballpark and was glad to see that the Hilton is an easy walk to the stadium. Easy to find, easy check-in, friendly staff, easy parking, quiet and comfortable room, and a terrific No Name Lounge for drinks and light fare. My second time staying here and I'd recommend it without question.

Not to Hilton standards!

My first impression, I thought it was very expensive for what was offered. For starters I was given a handicap accessible room with a small and uncomfortable shower. The shower floor was slippery and not practical. The front desk was very serviceable and nice. The overall feel of the hotel was pleasant BUT not up to "Hilton" standards. The room had no drinking water, not even for the coffee maker. The fact that the front desk only gives you one bottle of water when requested, is not good practice or good service. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. The drinking water situation was not good at all. This must change in your hotels. My feeling was I paid too much money for a property that didn't provide adequate service and comfort to their patrons. You have my contact information. A bit dated but ok

A good hotel in a good location. We stayed here for 9 nights. The hotel is close to the University, Restaurants, Shopping, etc. Parking area a bit dark for our liking after sunset if you are concerned about safety. Sadly there were a few critters crawling around in our room which I killed and that's the main reason we didn't score this better.
