We appreciated the location of this hotel. It was walking distance to all landmarks, convenient to the Danish Bakery across the street for breakfast and The Castle next door for pub style lunch or dinner. On our last day we just walked a few steps to the Airline Bus stop at Westgate and had an easy ride to Heathrow airport. The room was spacious with nice bed, shower and seating as well as mini-fridge and coffee maker. We'd stay here again!

The stay in general was what is expected from a standard, non-fancy hotel, no big negatives or positives in general. Positives: * The staff, Cintia and her collegues, was very helpful. * The breakfast (not included) was very good! I especially liked that there were crumpets :-). * The location was good, felt central enough for us. Negatives: * Parking, available in the parking garage belonging to the mall close by the hotel, was quite expensive. That is the parking facilities that the hotel refers to, so I assume that is what is available.

Had booked a quadruple family room but upon arrival was a given a double room. Had to wait long with tired, jet lagged kids, until they could find a replacement. The elevator wasn’t working for the first 3 days and we had to go up and down the stairs with kids and strollers and post ankle surgery. A heads up would have been nice before I paid upon check in. The stairways we had to climb through and hallways smelled wretched! The complaint process through their website is horrendous. The breakfast is decent and room we finally got was spacious enough; they wouldn’t clean unless you book a cleaning and even after we had asked for sheets and towels to be changed, they would come in change towels, and not sheets and won’t take the garbage out.

Property shows its age so if you are expecting a shiny, Canadian standard room you would be disappointed. That said, the location is excellent right across from a huge shopping mall and everything in the city centre is very close and easy to walk. The breakfast is also outstanding. Expensive, but what isn’t in the UK these days.

Not a very clean place. Main floor, right beside the lifts had a strong smell of rubbish. The bed in our room was horrible. You could hear the bed springs with every single move of your muscles and it wasn’t comfortable at all. Had two nightmarish nights to sleep to this place and will never go back. Everything was excellent. Julie was so helpful in so many ways from storing our luggage until the 3pm check in time, to getting extra pillows and refreshed linens. The breakfast was wonderful with so many choices, even vegan sausage. Ancila was so friendly and made us feel special, making the vegan sausage especially for us and even bringing it out to the table - above and beyond. The whole staff was helpful, energetic and caring. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had the all important refrigerator, coffee pot, and iron. It would have been nice to have a few more bathroom amenities like a shower cap, shampoo and conditioner. The location was ideal, right next the mall in city centre, making it accessible to many things. The only request i have is to be more flexible with the check in time, if the room is ready, there is no need to nickle and dime and charge to check in 1 hr early. Also, when we checked out, we were told there was no room to hold our luggage, which was quite inconvenient. However, we were offered to keep our bags in the restaurant area (at our own risk) which was closed so we felt quite safe with this option. We appreciated the option to do so. I also wanted to comment that the decor was wonderful, the purple LED lights really made my stay that much more enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again happily.
